Our chia fruit spreads make a great addition to a smoothie. Here’s our recipe for banana, blueberry and strawberry (makes 4 small glasses). This is a good way to use up overripe bananas that have gone a bit mushy. You can use any of our fruit spreads for this but we have used Strawberry Balsamic which works really well.
3 ripe bananas
2 handfuls of frozen blueberries
250g full fat organic yoghurt (or use coconut yogurt to make it vegan)
2 tbsp strawberry chia spread (or other)
Blitz the bananas, yoghurt and blueberries until smooth. Add the chia fruit spread and briefly blitz before serving.
